BEAR Scotland is to improve the A83 in Lochgilphead from Cossack Street to Colchester Square on behalf of Transport Scotland.
The work, involving resurfacing and refreshing road markings, will start on April 21 at 5pm and finish by May 1 at 2am.
There will be lane closures and traffic lights in place with a convoy system to manage traffic.
Parking from Cossack Street to Argyll Street will be restricted between 4pm and 5am each work night from April 21 until May 1, except from April 26 at 5am to 28 April at 4pm.
These measures will protect the public and allow workers to complete the project safely.
Outside work times the road will be open, but there will be a speed limit of 30mph.
Ian Stewart, BEAR Scotland’s North West representative, said: “We are refreshing the A83 in Lochgilphead to give road users a better experience.
"Our team will work hard to finish the scheme safely and swiftly, and we’re grateful to the community and drivers for their patience.”
