After the cancellation of their January meeting owing to Covid, Shiskine SWI members were delighted to welcome two volunteer firefighters from Blackwaterfoot Fire Service to their February meeting.
During September the Lamlash Scottish Women’s Institute (SWI) members met to discuss the times, venues and meetings for the upcoming year.
The December meeting of the Shiskine Women’s Institute was held in the golf clubhouse and was attended by 21 ladies including three visitors.
Shiskine Women’s Institute members enjoyed a welcome return to regular meetings last week when 21 ladies attended their first meeting since March last year.
The exhibition which showcased the talent and skills of members of Arran’s five SWI institutes featured over 337 exhibits from nearly 50 participants.
