Dog enthusiasts, Patricia Gibson, MP for North Ayrshire and Arran, and her husband Kenneth Gibson, MSP for Cunninghame North, showed their softer side recently with a visit to Dogs Trust in Glasgow.

Arran MSP Kenneth Gibson has won a reselection battle within the SNP for his Cunninghame North seat, ahead of next year’s Scottish parliament elections.
‘I believe this Bill will ensure we help those of Arran’s people who suffer from fuel poverty.’
This will almost double current provision and triple that inherited by the SNP on coming to office in 2007.
The ferry budget has also been increased from £181 million to £251 million.
The Bill builds on the SNP Government’s work to enhance island communities and economies.
