Environmental group Eco Savvy launched their Zero Waste Cafe initiative at St Molio’s Church in Shiskine last week where attendees were treated to a warming lunch and an innovate shopping experience.
Two eco-orientated businesses on Arran have received National Lottery funding from the Together for Our Planet Fund which has awarded £1 million to community groups and business which are working towards combating climate change.
Eco Savvy Arran is one of seven island organisations across Scotland that will be sharing in a £600,000 funding boost as part of the second tranche of the Island Communities Fund.

A series of healthy walks around Arran are being offered next month by environmental charity Eco Savvy.
The winners of a pizza competition run by sustainable food promoter Eco Savvy had the opportunity to see their winning creation available for sale this week at The Parlour in Brodick where the Glister family taste tested their own creation.
Next week will see the end of lockdown project, the Savvy Film Club, which has been screening regular films with an environmental theme.
