Old pier at Brodick to be demolished

The old Brodick pier, which has been out of commission since the £30 million Brodick ferry terminal redevelopment project was completed is set to be demolished later this year by Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited (CMAL).

Gourock linkspan project delayed

The delay to the work at the port which is used as an alternative port in bad weather for Arran and Bute ferries is due to recently discovered issues with the berth structure which were uncovered during additional surveys.
