Bumper Co-op handouts give charities a big boost

Representatives of Mary Davis Trust, Cats Protection Arran, and teachers, parents and pupils from Brodick Nursery, attended the cheque presentation and thanked the Co-op for their share of the money which is made up from the sale of one per cent of own-branded products purchased by customers.

It’s all fun and games at the toy sale

Parents and supporters, favouring the idea and using it as an opportunity to do much needed clear outs, donated so many toys, games, clothing and books, that the length and breadth of the hall was filled with mountains of toys piled high on the tables.
