Auchrannie Resort are celebrating after picking up recognition for being amongst the very best employers in hospitality.
Organisers thanked Linda Johnston for her assistance and all of the participants, teachers and everyone else who helped to play an invaluable part in ensuring the event was a success.
The change came during a year which saw Auchrannie maintain occupancy rates at 90 per cent, helping to grow turnover to £7.6 million up from £7.2m.
The biggest team from the island taking part were the 35 10k participants and two half marathon runners from Team Auchrannie made up of employees as well as family and friends.
A team from Auchrannie resort will be taking part in the 2018 Great Scottish Run which is being staged around the streets of Glasgow this Sunday.
Ever conscious of environmental issues, the lodges, which have been individually built for the Glen Cloy site, have been designed with sustainability in mind.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Ayrshire hoteliers Bill and Cath Costley.
As well as winning the national award for hotel lodges, Auchrannie was also noted as highly commended in the Spa Hotel category.
