Strachur and District Scottish Women’s Institute had a fascinating talk by Linda Martin on her school “experience” trip to Tanzania.
The next meeting will by Neil Hammett, who is very involved in The Holy Loch Nature Reserve at Sandbank, on April 17 at 2pm in Strachur Hall.
He has a new talk all about Cowal wildlife and once again we will be using the new projector which is a great asset to Strachur Hall.
Visitors are always welcome to the talks with tea and cake, plus a chance to make new friends. Entry is £2.
The Foursomes competition Strachur SWI was won by Strachur and District just before Covid, however the banner has just been rediscovered and returned!
The branch now has its name embroidered on it thanks to Anne Fiddes.
