BRAMBLES – David Thomas of Blackwaterfoot, Isle of Arran. Passed away 4 June 2022 at Crosshouse Hospital, aged 85 years. Beloved husband of Marian, loving Dad to Jonathan and Jackie, much loved Grandad of Ryan, Lily, Stanley & Florence and adored by Alfie, his 4-legged walking companion over many happy years. As per his wishes, a private family funeral will take place with a celebration of Dave’s life to be held at a future date. Marian and family would like to extend their gratitude to all the home carers, staff at Shiskine surgery, Lamlash Hospital, Montrose House and Crosshouse Hospital for taking care of David over the last few months. Thank you all so much.
Logie – Bill (William McLellan Logie) of Sannox, Isle of Arran.Peacefully in Glasgow 7th June 2022 aged 90. Bill moved to the island from Glasgow around 30 years ago and was known for his generosity and hospitality along with his innate mischievous sense of humour. Bill leaves behind his much loved partner Fay Reid, his beloved children Robert, David, Michelle, Willie and Margaret, his much adored grandchildren Nico, Max and Holly along with his extended family Johanna, Steve and Jennifer. In Bill’s usual non conformist way, he has donated his body to the medical science faculty at Glasgow University. A memorial event will take place at a later date.
Thank you – Jean Lammie & Family are grateful for the good care John received over the years from Arran Medical Group (Shiskine), Doctors, Nurses, Carers and Dispensary. To Hendry Funeral Directors, Kinloch Hotel, Council attendants and music providers for their usual caring services. Thank you for the lovely cards, plants, flowers and calls. The generous donations to Arran causes was much appreciated. We have been strengthened by our friends’ thoughtfulness. A special thank you to Jean Hunter for a lovely and helpful service and her personal care at all times.
Stewart – Annie. The Stewart family wish to thank friends and neighbours for all sympathy and support received in their recent sad loss. Special thanks to Fiona Borland, Clare and David Hendry, to Kildonan Hotel and to those who gave so generously to ArCas, the sum of £475.
