Arran Yacht Club and friends are hosting a water sports day at Lamash pier on Sunday June 12.

Waterfest is a chance for existing yacht club members to try out different water sports and meet other water users at the club. It is also an opportunity for everyone on Arran to try out the activities various clubs offer and perhaps join them later.

Whilst children are welcome to attend, there will be age restrictions for some of the activities and a parent or guardian must be present at the yacht club for under 18s to participate. Wetsuits will be available to borrow.

The day will be split into four main sessions – 9.30am, 11am, 2pm and 3.30pm. You can join as many sessions as you like and you will have the chance to dinghy sail, kayak, swim and row with the clubs. All the activities will be led by qualified instructors.
