Deacon Blue drummer and TV presenter Dougie Vipond cuts the ribbon at the grand opening of the Lagg Distillery which took place after a two-year delay on Wednesday.

It is more than five years since work began at the the distillery on the southern tip of Arran and the first spirit was produced in the spring of 2019 meaning that the first peated Lagg Single Malt Scotch Whisky could be toasted by guests at the opening.
