Sensory Impaired Support Group (SIGS) will be hosting a help and information session at the Arran Library on the fourth Thursday of every month for people with NHS hearing aids.

The Ayr-based charity will visit Arran Library between 11am and 1pm, starting next Thursday May 26, where they will assist people with NHS hearing aids by supplying batteries, retubing hearing aids with moulds, and provide useful information for those affected by sensory impairment.

They are unable to retube hearing aids with domes but they can offer to clean this type of hearing aid. For further information on the help, support and services available from SIGS, you can contact Julie Craig on 01292 266791 or email
