Election countdown: who got your vote?

One of these candidates is likely to be named later today (Friday) as the sole councillor representing the new Arran ward on North Ayrshire Council after counting is completed following yesterday's council elections. Five of the six candidates took part in a lively hustings debate in the Ormidale Pavilion on Monday night which attracted a good turnout. They are, left to right, Timothy Billings, Conservative; Aaran McDonald, Labour, Tom Young, Independent, Steve Garraway, SNP and Ronna Park, Scottish Greens. Independent candidate Ellen McMaster did not attend.
