BROWN – Stuart Lawson
The family of Stuart Lawson Brown would like to announce his passing on 2nd April at his home in Suffolk aged 91. A resident of Whiting Bay for many years Stuart also had strong links with Arran since his childhood and spent many a summer with his family exploring and enjoying the island. He will be missed by Marjorie, his two sons Colin and Glenn, daughter in law Sam and granddaughters Madi and Gen.
CARSON, Sheila Margaret (nee Bremner)
Passed away peacefully at home with her children, on Thursday 31 March 2022 after a short illness. Beloved wife of the late Henry (Harry ) Carson, mum of Shirley (Iain) & Paul (Alison), much loved gran of Alan (Karen), Glenn & Dayni, fondly known to her Great grandsons, Ruairidh & Finlay as Gee Gee. Funeral service at Park Parish Church Ardrossan, Wednesday 13th April at 12.45 pm then to Hawkhill Cemetery, Stevenston at 1.30 pm. All family and friends are invited to join the family at the Lauriston Hotel, Ardrossan afterwards.

My wonderful, kind, grumpy, opinionated, forthright big brother very sadly passed away peacefully on 26 March at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow. His funeral will be held at Linn Crematorium Glasgow, 1 pm on Wednesday 13 April, to which all family and friends are invited. No black ties please. Family flowers only please. Donations if so desired, to either Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (Ward 8D) or Arran Mountain Rescue Team.
