Arran Rugby Football Club (RFC) will play their first rugby match in more than five years this weekend when they take on Kilmacolm’s Birkmyre RFC.

The club’s senior men’s team is back up and running, with training on Monday evenings. They have their first competitive game tomorrow (Saturday) at Ormidale Park, in Brodick, with a 2.15pm kick off.

With it being the club’s first 15s game since they left the SRU league five years ago, and with sunshine forecast for the day, the match is expected to be well supported by spectators.

Arran RFC’s annual sevens tournament is due to take place on Saturday June 11, for the first time since 2018.
