Her Majesty the Queen has this week appointed Dr Alistair Grassie one of five new deputy lieutenants of Ayrshire. Awarded an MBE in the New Year’s honours list in 2000, he will now, in certain circumstances, represent the Queen on Arran. 01_B02twe06
