There may have been no traditional Christmas party for children in Brodick this year but that did not stop Santa stopping by to find out their Christmas wishes in a Covid-friendly fashion.

With the growing threat of the Omicron variant, organisers took the decision to cancel the party for a second year.

However, meeting children one at a time, or with their brothers and sisters, Santa spent Sunday afternoon hearing their requests and handing out presents, ably assisted by his fairy friend.

Their parents bought raffle tickets to support the venture, while adhering to the one-way system.

Santa will be meeting children in the same fashion in Shiskine this afternoon. (Friday)
