Former English teacher turned author, James McEnaney, will be returning to the school where he started his career to talk about his new book Class Rules: The Truth About Scottish Schools.
Arran High School in Lamlash will be the venue where tomorrow (Saturday) at 12.30pm, James will talk about his book, take questions from the audience, and talk about the vital role that Arran played in writing it.
The book covers 20 years of education politics, the 2020-2021 SQA scandal and the complexities of the Curriculum for Excellence (CfE), as well as a number of solutions on how to remedy the problems being faced.
James is a leading commentator on issues affecting Scottish education and his book has been well received by education experts, peers, and those with an interest in the Scottish educational system.
