Transport minister Graeme Dey will visit Arran today (Friday) to discuss the issues surrounding the ferry service and meet the various parties involved. He will also tour the Brodick ferry terminal to see the facilities for himself.
It will be his first visit to Arran since being appointed in May.
However, an expected visit yesterday by the Cabinet Secretary for the Islands Mairi Gougeon to Arran did not happen. Instead the meeting involving the Arran Recovery Group and North Ayrshire Council was held digitally.
