ScotRail is inviting members of the public to have on a new timetable to be introduced in May next year which will affect rail services throughout Scotland.
The new timetable is part of a review of the entire network to ensure that the needs of passengers and the Scottish Government are met as the country recovers from the pandemic and starts using public transport again.
ScotRail is not proposing to make significant changes between Glasgow, Ardrossan and Largs.
The May 2022 timetable will continue to provide two trains an hour during the day with one train an hour to Largs in the evening and services to Ardrossan to connect with ferries.
A further review of these services will be undertaken for May 2023 to ensure the level of service being provided is appropriate for the number of passengers travelling.
People making use of ScotRail services or those affected by the new timetable can add their views by filling in the survey at www.scotrail.co.uk/about-scotrail/fit-future
The Ardrossan to Glasgow service from Ardrossan Harbour station is frequently used by Arran residents wishing to travel to Glasgow. NO_B36ScotRail01
