Whisky and music lovers may not be able to attend the Arran Whisky Festival in person again this year, but a number of live and pre-recorded events will be broadcast for fans.

Tasting packs will also be on sale for those wishing to add an element of realism to the whisky masterclasses.

The Arran Whisky Festival Malt and Music 2021 will take place virtually over two days from Saturday June 26, after the always-popular event was cancelled for the second time this year.

On offer will be tours of both the Lochranza and the Lagg distilleries as well as live whisky masterclasses including mystery tastings, distillery exclusives and spirit tasting as well as a tour guides’ masterclass and a White Stag ultimate masterclass.

Tasting sets of varying descriptions, from spirits to various expressions aligned with the masterclasses, are available to purchase through the website at www.arranwhisky.com so that viewers can follow the presentations and experience the whiskies and spirits themselves.

On the music front, participants can enjoy music from Mike Bailey and Anchor Line, which will be provided by Crofters Music.

All live and pre-recorded events will be available to watch on the Lagg and Arran social media pages and on YouTube.
