Shiskine Golf Club

The Shiskine Ladies Away Golfing Society Tour is an annual event when the golfers play in open days around the island, on Kintyre and in Ayrshire.

Points are awarded at each outing and the trophy is presented at the end of the season. This year they did have away days at Brodick, Corrie and Machrie Bay, with most of the competitions held at Shiskine.

Twenty two ladies took part and the winner this year was Alice Anderson with 33 points. Second was Clare Buchanan on 25 points and third Jenni Turnbull with 23 points.

Elizabeth Kelso won the trophy for best attendance. Thank you to Alice for organising the venues, collecting names and doing the draw. Hopefully next year golf clubs will be able to hold open days again.
