Community of Arran Seabed Trust (COAST) opened Scotland’s first Marine Protected Area Visitor Centre in Lamlash in 2018.
Since opening, the centre has been known as the Octopus Centre but the trust thinks this can sometimes be misleading.
As COAST approaches the two-year anniversary of the centre being officially open, it is considering re-naming the centre has produced a short online survey giving people the chance to have their say on a new name.
COAST outreach and communications manager Jenny Stark said: ‘There is no right or wrong answer. We would appreciate your opinion on which name would make you interested and leave you wanting to visit or find out more.
‘The survey asks if you have visited before, purely so we know if you are selecting an option based on prior knowledge of what is on offer, or from a completely fresh point of view not knowing exactly what to expect. Both are equally important.
‘Your answers will remain anonymous. No personal details will be collected and your IP address will not be recorded. The survey will close on Wednesday September 9.’
