Saturday August 29, fun Texas Scramble. Once again our Texas Scramble was blessed with decent weather and fine turnout. We extended the format to 18 holes this year – it seemed a shame to waste such fine weather. Scoring was tight, with a number of teams returning sub 60 scratch scores, but the team of Shonagh Pringle, husband Sandy, Jimmy Morrison and Babbies McNeil prevailed by a narrow margin.
Thanks to all who played, to Stewart for the magnificent condition of the course, to John, Jamie and Nancy for the clubhouse food and drink, and finally to all the sponsors and donors who gave so generously to ensure such a fine day.
