CURRIE – William John (Bill) passed away peacefully, 13th June, aged almost 90. Born on the Isle of Arran, lately of East Horsley, Surrey. Beloved husband of Audrey for 65 years. Father of Alasdair, Stewart, Douglas and Russell. Grandfather to Kirsten, Morag, Harriet and Mathilda. A true gentleman, much loved by all who knew him, he will be dearly missed. Funeral in July will be family only. No flowers, but donations to Alzheimer’s Society very welcome.
McConnachie – John Mitchell passed away on Sunday, 14th June 2020 at home in Corrie after an illness bravely borne. Pam and Jim would like to thank doctors, nurses and carers who looked after John during his illness, also, family, friends and neighbours for cards, flowers and much kindness at this difficult time. Thanks also to Rev. Angus Adamson and Jean Hunter for a compassionate service and to Hendry Funeral Services for funeral arrangements.
WHITE – June’s family would like to give thanks for all the sympathy and kindness shown following her death. Thank you to Dr Hamadi and all staff at AWMH for their kindness and care in her last days, and to the district nurses, medical team and particularly the care at home team, for their help and understanding – enabling June’s wish to remain at home. Special gratitude to Monika, Marion and Marvin for their friendship and kindness over the years, and to all friends in Sannox and Corrie who paid their respects on June’s final journey. Thank you to the Hendrys for their help, and to Amanda Reid for a special service.
