Smiling before schools are shut

The entire Shiskine Primary School joined P7 pupil, Olivia McNeice, to celebrate winning the Lamlash Burns Club painting and drawing competition. Senior category winner Olivia was presented with a commemorative medal and a small prize at a special assembly where Lamlash Burns Club president Douglas Auld and secretary Andrew Martin surprised the pupils with the great news. P1 pupil Bonnie Atkinson of Lamlash Primary was the junior category winner. For the full story with pictures see pages 10 and 11.
