A charity pop-up shop held in aid of ArCaS at Shiskine Hall last Sunday was a huge success.

The hall was packed with eager shoppers from before 2pm and as well hunting for bargains they also enjoyed a special Shiskine cream tea. The day raised a tremendous £4,002.95 for the cancer charity from the entrance fee, purchases and the raffle.

One of the organisers Barbara Crawford said: ‘Thank-you to everyone that came along to the pop-up shop. I hope you all managed to get a bargain.
This could not have happened without the tremendous amount of help from everyone especially my fantastic friends who helped get the hall organised over the last few days/nights.

‘Thank-you to everyone that turned up to help today and also for all the offers of help.To Carol, Fer and Jacqui for the delicious scones and tablet. Thanks also to ArCaS ,Shiskine Hall, Arran Active , Taylor Made Beauty and Red Door this would not have been as successful without your donations. Thanks as well to all that donated those amazing clothes and everyone that donated a raffle prize.’
