Brodick Bowling Club held their annual lunch and presentation of trophies in the Wineport on Friday February 28.

Despite a torrential downpour outside, more than 20 members and partners enjoyed a very convivial afternoon and a lovely meal in the dining room, followed by the presentation of last year’s trophies to the winners of the club competitions.

One person dominated the prize list, yet again, and that was Charlie Weir, who won almost a full house of trophies.

President Kate Nichols presided and reminded those present that the club’s AGM will this year take place in Brodick Church Hall on Monday April 6 at 7.30pm. She hoped that as many as possible would be able to attend, together with anyone interested in joining the club, whose season begins in May.
