Around 36 members of The Isle of Arran SNP branch made the trip over to Kintyre for the independence march held in Campbeltown recently.

Organisers of the All Under One Banner march estimated around 2,000 SNP supported from all over Scotland took part in the biggest demonstration seen in the town for a number of years.

Opponents from the Pro-UK group A Force for Good,  put the number of marchers at just 974, and staged a small counter demonstration, but the day passed off peacefully.
