The Brodick Centenary Trophy was played for by all the island’s clubs on Saturday June 15 in slightly damp conditions following the morning rain.  Seven teams played, and the event  was won by the Brodick triples team of Kate Nichols, Charles Hendry and Andy McCrindle.

The weather in most of June was very unpredictable and as a result several rink games were abandoned or cancelled due to rain.  Winning teams at club rink games in June which were played were:

June 1, Kate Nichols, Ernie Stanger and Charlie Weir (+6); June 3, Katrina O’Connor, Jim Nichols and Andy McCrindle (+9); June 5, Charles Hendry and Ian Davidson (+8); June 10, Ernie Stanger and Jim Gourlay (+8); June 17, Paul O’Connor and Ernie Stanger (+1); June 22,  John Lauder, Jenny Douglas and John McConnachie (+16); June 24, Andy McCrindle and Ernie Stanger (+11); June 26, Jim Nichol and Charles Hendry (+8); June 29, Robert Crawford, Ann Hollingworth and Jim Gourlay (+14).
