Jim Henderson of Lamlash has been presented with an Arran Golfers Association (AGA) award in recognition of his 40 years of service to the organisation.

Thanking him for promoting and advancing golf on Arran, Donald Logan, Willie Kelso and Jock Kelso – all former presidents of the AGA – presented him with a memoir of the occasion – a framed picture of the iconic view overlooking Corrie golf course.

Describing his efforts over the past 40 years as ‘outstanding and tireless’ Jim was also given a lifetime membership to all golf clubs on Arran and the AGA.

Well regarded golfer and former AGA president Jock Kelso presents Jim with a lifetime membership to the AGA and all of Arran’s seven golf clubs.
