The next meeting of The Friends of Brodick Castle will feature a number of guest speakers who will outline a long list of improvements and changes at the castle and provide supporters with details of upcoming events.

In addition, a drive to seek donations for the adults or children’s tombolas for Easter will be initiated. A box will be set up in the Rangers Centre for donations.

At the meeting Patrick Hayes, the head gardener, will be talking about the changes in the garden and the new walks that have been developed. Gardens and designed landscapes manager Tim Keyworth will answer any questions about trees that were discussed at the last meeting.

Linda MacCallum will explain the upcoming castle events with special emphasis on the Easter Sunday event, and Fiona Doubleday will provide further detail about the Makers Festival in July and what role the friends might play.

Everyone is invited to the meeting which will take place at the Rangers Centre on Thursday March 21 at 2pm.
