The brass band known as Arran Brass are on the lookout for new members to join their group.
Arran Brass may be down but they are not out, and despite rumours to the contrary, are still very much alive and kicking, and meet every Wednesday night at 7.15pm in St Brides Parish church hall in Brodick.
Currently the band have up to 11 experienced and competent players and have a diary of events to play at in the coming months. However, they are in search of new members, or experienced previous members who wish to return to performing.
If anyone require an instrument they have plenty in store. Of particular interest are cornet players but they also have trombones, baritones, flugels and tubas available.
If you would like to join the band you can contact Derek on 01770 302676 and he would be happy to answer any questions that you might have.
