Ain’t Misbehavin’ entertain at SWI

Members of the Shiskine SWI and guests from the other island institutes were well entertained by Ain’t Misbehavin’ at their meeting on Wednesday November 7.

The Arran group performed a range of music from past to present which was appreciated by all in attendance, particularly on a cold winter’s night in November.

After an enjoyable supper vice president Joan Stewart announced the winners of the evening’s competitions: Favourite Bell which was won by Marion Brambles with Kate Henderson as the runner up and homemade musical instrument, won by Evelyn Hamilton.


The next meeting of the Shiskine SWI will be on Wednesday December 5 when a cocktail/mocktail evening will be held at Shiskine Golf Clubhouse at 7.30pm. The competition will be for best wrapped parcel – value £5 – and the exhibition is your favourite wvening bag. Parcels can be purchased and all proceeds go to Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS).
