The Arran Ladies Hockey Club are ready to return to regular hockey games following a recent bruising schedule where the team travelled to play Jordanhill, Glasgow on a Saturday, before facing tough contenders Glasgow Uni 4s back at home the following day.

The exhausting schedule which regularly sees the teams playing a weekly game and on occasion, two games on a weekend, took its toll on players who described themselves as ‘worn down’.

Owing to a surprise cancellation by CHK 4s last weekend, which they have conceded, the team have had time to rest, recover and recuperate and are rearing to go again.

Arran Ladies will face Strathclyde University 2s today (Saturday) in a home match that has been brought forward from Saturday December 8. The pass back is at 2pm and everyone is welcome to attend and the support is always appreciated.
