The Arran Farmers’ Society Show has come and gone for another year. The 182nd outing of the annual show brought bumper crowds and this year it stayed dry for most of the day on Wednesday August 1.

As reported in last week’s Banner, the horse events were postponed, due to a number of factors, but they may be held in the near future and there were no Suffolk sheep entries.
