Arran Golfers Association

Monday May 7, The Arran Golfers Association Junior Handicap was held at Lamlash with only two lads turning out for this annual event, Ross Trail (18) and Rory Currie (25). So it was decided that the handicap and match play would be decided on Monday’s result. The standard of golf exhibited by both was excellent, they could in fact grace any senior competition.

Of the 16 holes completed in match play format Ross scored 72 winning by 3+2 with Rory on 74 both of them on at least two occasions having to play three off the tee due to lost balls. So there total score could even have been less of a number.

Ross won the Handicap shield and match play cup- also one years membership at Lamlash. Rory being awarded the match play runners up trophy.

Compliments to the green staff at Lamlash for the standard of the greens and to the club for hosting the competition.

Note: can you put this in a box to highlight it, thanks
