The next meeting of the Arran Elderly Forum will include a talk from Margaret Broster from the North Ayrshire Access Panel.

At the meeting and discussion on Wednesday November 15, at the Ormidale Pavilion, Margaret will provide some insights into the panel which was formed in 2006. The panel is a voluntary group of people, either with a disability or having an involvement in disability, who work to improve access for all disabled people.

Some of the issues that they deal with include planning, and building warrant applications, footpaths, pavements, transport, accommodation and general access.

Anyone with an interest is welcome to join the meeting which starts at 10.40am.
