Whiting Bay Primary School has become the latest location to have a defibrillator installed that is publicly accessible in the event of an emergency in the area.
The defibrillator, which was supplied and fitted by North Ayrshire Council, is located within the school grounds and, rather than locating it indoors, it has been installed externally so it can be used by the wider community.
The defibrillator is located on the kitchen wall, just to the left after the steps as you go in through the gate.
Signs from the main road direct the public to its location should it be needed by the school or a member of the public in an emergency situation.
