A sundial gifted to Sir Kenneth Calman on his retiral has been unveiled at Brodick Castle.

Sir Kenneth was given the gift to mark his departure as chairman of the National Trust for Scotland earlier this year after five years at the helm.
However, he decided than rather than have it in ‘his small garden’ at the house he has in Brodick he would prefer it to be sited in the castle grounds.
And it was unveiled on Tuesday in front of the National Trust for Scotland board and trustees during their visit to the castle.
