Given the number of players lost to injury, Arran RFC’s game ended with an incredible 29-5 away win for the island team in Stranraer.
After 10 minutes Arran were awarded a penalty for a ruck offence in front of the posts and Iain ‘Keeno’ Keen made no mistake, 3-0.
Three minutes later, Wigtownshire offended again and Keeno took full advantage 6-0. This pattern repeated itself twice more with the indefatigable Keeno becoming almost boringly consistent.

Wigtownshire RFC were greeted with hail, torrential rain, thunder and lightning when they returned to the island on Saturday November 2 2013 to play Arran for the second time in two weeks.
Ormidale Park was overflowing with water and after a referee inspection it was agreed that the game would be played with uncontested scrums.
The game started over an hour after its scheduled time with the home side kicking off but the ball did not reach the 10-metre line and stuck in the water.
