Around 90 people braved the chill winds on Good Friday to hold a ‘Walk of Witness’ through Brodick on the holiest day of the Christian calendar.
After a short service in Holy Cross Catholic Church at 2pm the crowd walked quietly behind a simple wooden cross along the seafront and to Brodick Church of Scotland for another brief service.
