MV Saturn switched between Brodick and Kennacraig
Published: 14 September, 2007
The MV Saturn, which was due to be being retained on the Brodick –Ardrossan route for at least another week, was diverted on Wednesday afternoon to Kennacraig to service Islay.
The boat was set to return to the Arran service on Saturday until the 7.15am crossing on Monday, September 17.
A review is to be carried out to determine whether she will stay on any longer.
Robbie Brown, route manager at Brodick Pier, said: ‘We switched the MV Saturn to Islay to fill a gap there.’
