Pemtathlon sports day at Arran High

Arran High School sports day this year took the form of a pentathlon.

Pupils competed in five different events on a perfect summer’s day last Tuesday.

The five disciplines were 800 metres, 100 metres, high jump, long jump and discus.

Winners were as follows:-

S2 boys: 1 Moir McCallum, 2 Euan Bone, 3 Connor Reid.

S2 girls: 1 Kristina Colwell, 2 Lottie Herbert-Lilley, 3 Eilidh Blair.

S3/4 boys: 1 Jack Barbour, 2 Peter Sell, 3 Miles Mallinson.

S3/4 girls: 1 Lynn Ramage, 2 Lauren McAllister, 3 Rachael Mulholland.

S5/6 boys: 1 Cameron Paul, 2 Sam Tattersfield, 3 Andrew Earle.

S5/6 girls: 1 Shauna Jameson, 2 Amy Downard, 3 Julie McDonald.
