Archie, the black Labrador puppy, is just about ready to make his debut in a new Where’s Archie? feature in the Banner.
The popular Where’s Murphy? column came to a sad end last April when Murphy, also a black Labrador, died suddenly. Messages of condolence and even offers of another dog came from literally all over the world.
In July a litter of pups was born at Dougarie and after being advertised in the Banner, all 10 little dogs went to homes on the island. Archie was one of those puppies and relocated to his new home in Whiting Bay. Now he is ready for the challenge of appearing in public each week.
A new Where’s Archie? feature will be starting next week, and the little black chap is being sponsored by The Arran Team.
The Arran Team is delighted to welcome their new team mascot, Archie, this week. Skilled second home managers, The Arran Team have now turned their expertise to all Arran properties. They do small electrical, plumbing & joinery jobs, flat pack furniture assembly, help clean out your cupboards, mend a fence or greenhouse and have a secure key holding centre, open every day.
The staff are reliable, friendly, well-kent faces and they’ll give you a quote first.
Open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm call them on 0845 459 9968 or 01770 303111/3 or email info@thearranteam.co.uk.
