A large crowd helped to raise more than £1,000 at the annual Corrie Primary School Spring Fair last Saturday.
The fair is one of two major fundraising events for the school – the other is the annual Christmas concert.
People of all ages enjoyed many activities and refreshments including a barbecue, tombola, raffle, books stall, cream teas, home-baking, coconut shy, face-painting, toy stall, a golf-putting challenge and beat-the-goalie.
After costs the total for the school came to £901.81.
Children also enjoyed playing equipment recently installed in the schoolyard bought with funds from previous annual fairs and concerts.
A spokeswoman for the school and nursery said thanks were due to staff, pupils, parents and everyone who supported the event.
She added: ‘We would also like to thank Hazel McGloin and the local businesses for their fantastic raffle prizes: North Sannox Pony Trekking, Sannox Bay Hotel, Scotts@Corrie Golf Club. Brodick Co-Op, Island Cheese Shop, Corrie Hotel, James Chocolate Shop, Lochranza distillery, Lucie Ford Florist & Arran Aromatics.’ Arran Dairies and Wooleys of Arran were also thanked.
