Last week Murphy was looking a bit down in the mouth, standing in the snow with flakes swirling around him.

Some readers were quick to comment that there were not many clues in the photograph as to his whereabouts.

But Ian Hendry of Brodick was even quicker to post his correct answer via email at 1.32pm on Friday 8 February.

Murphy was standing in the snow by the new bridge on the Ross Road, just east of the green Frasers van.

This week he is sitting on the seashore again, but do you know which stretch of Arran’s coastline is basking in sunshine?
