The 15th Kildonan Burns Supper was held in Kildonan Hall on Saturday, February 2.

For the last 14 years it has been held in the Breadalbane Hotel under the culinary direction of hostess Yvonne O’Reagan. The hotel was sold last summer and the new owners have since closed it, leaving customers, including the Burns Supper organisers, high and dry. Nevertheless, the locals decided find a new location to celebrate the Bard’s birthday.

The new arrangement was so successful that local resident Alistair Yates was moved to prose to record the occasion, with thanks to Judy Cook and John MacDonald.
