Generous islanders have pulled it off again for the group raising funds for Arran’s hospital.

At the recent Lamlash Hospital Supporters Group Christmas Fayre in Lamlash Community Centre they contributed £1100 to the coffers in the hour and a half that the event was held.

There were many stalls selling all kinds of Christmas treats such as children’s games and committee member Eddie Waterland was delighted that so much was raised.

The amount is higher than last year’s.

The group holds an annual spring plant sale as well as the fayre to help to supply things that hospital staff and patients need.
