Rachel’s design is not wasted

Rachael Mulholland from Kilmory had the chance to see her winning recycling competition design in use on Monday.
Rachel’s logo was picked from a large number of entries to represent the future of recycling on Arran.
The island’s waste awareness officer, Brodie Pearcey, is pictured presenting Rachael with a re-usable shopping bag with her ‘let’s recycle arran’ logo printed on it. While still in P7 and at Kilmory Primary School, she was among a number of youngsters who entered the competition to design a logo to encourage recycling on Arran.
